Sugar Mountain

Sugar Mountain is a recording and mixing studio founded and operated by producer, recording and mixing engineer, Philip Weinrobe.

Located in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn NY

Mixing at Sugar Mountain can be either attended (we drink coffee, bop around the room) or un-attended (you stay in your room anywhere on earth, i stay here at sugar mountain, we bop around our respective rooms via zoom/audiomovers).

The studio is setup with a hybrid analog/digital workflow with a heavy dose of tape machines (cassette, 1/4”, 1/2”)

Recording at Sugar Mountain is done in the round: all of us in the room together.

Cozy (read: let’s get close) and comfortable.

There is an iso room if we need to put the singer/tuba player/tambourinist away from the other microphones.
